At The Occasionall Group, home to Festivall Staff and Occasionall Staff, sustainability has been at the heart of our mission since our founding in 2021. As an event staffing agency operating nationwide, making recruitment as sustainable as possible presents challenges, but we’re committed to finding innovative solutions to reduce our impact.

Our Trees-for-all initiative gives clients the opportunity to plant a tree for every staff member they book through The Occasionall Group. This adds to the growing Occasionall Forest, either in the UK or internationally, and helps offset travel emissions from staff journeys to site.

This builds on our long-standing commitment. Since 2021, we have planted a tree for every staff member booked per season. In 2024 alone, we funded 1,064 trees, thanks to:
🌿 A tree planted for every new member of staff.
🌿 A tree planted for every survey response in our End of Summer Survey and Festive Feedback Forms.
🌿 Some of our End of Summer Survey prize winners choosing to plant 25 trees instead of a £25 voucher.
🌿 A special pledge during Event Production Show & International Confex, where we planted a tree for every visitor to our stand at ‘Tree-o’Clock’, adding 19 more trees to our forest.

Sustainability isn’t just about offsetting emissions however. Alongside Trees-for-All, we also prioritise local recruitment, reducing unnecessary travel emissions.
